Kemocarb should not be taken without consulting the doctor, if the patient has impaired kidney function or liver problems, severe bone marrow depression or severe bleeding problems
The medicine may reduce the number of blood cells in the bone marrow. Thorough test before, during and after medicine consumption is suggested.
Not consumable for those who are allergic to the medicine, any of its ingredients, mannitol, or compounds that contain platinum (cisplatin)

Drug Interactions

- Kemocarb may increase the side effects, including risk of bleeding, kidney problems, or hearing problems of aminoglycoside antibiotics (gentamicin) and anticoagulants (warfarin)
- The effectiveness of Kemocarb may be decreased by Hydantoins (phenytoin).
- Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing and tightness in the chest)
- Numbness, tingling, or pain of the hands or feet
- Irritation, or sores in the mouth
- Ringing in the ears or hearing loss
- Unusual bruising or bleeding
- Vision changes or loss
- Cough, fever or chills
- Injection site reactions (redness, swelling, pain)
